| Designed to help you address environmental concerns and meet government regulations regarding mercury usage, the Thermo Scientific Ramsey Mercury-Free Tilt Sensor uses advanced technology inside the tilt probe to replicate the same performance found in traditional mercury-based Ramsey tilt switches. |
| A combination of opto-electronics and solid state circuitry inside the probe prevents jitter and provides stability not found in the typical non-mercury options. The precision manufacturing of the tilt probe provides sensing of a 15 degree inclination in a full 360 degrees of direction. |
| When paired with a control in either the field mount or DIN mount enclosure, the tilt probe provides you with the best mercury-free tilt sensor available. Simple to install, the control includes normal and alarm indicators, adjustable time delay, and flexibility to determine whether normal is a horizontal or a tilted position. Multiple models of tilt probes, including installation hardware, are available for applications with a wide variety of materials and environmental conditions. |

The rugged, abrasion-resistant Ramsey Tilt Switch is actuated when material rises to tilt the probe 15° or more from its vertical position. These switches are precisely positioned so that, regardless of the direction of tilt, its normally closed contacts will open. Various probe assemblies are available to suit applications utilizing an array of materials in a wide range of environmental conditions. |

Thousands of Ramsey C-Level continuous level indicating systems have been successfully applied in a variety of industries ranging from food processing to asphalt plants. With accuracy to within ±2%, the Ramsey C-Level has proven itself to be ideally suited for inventory monitoring and process control. Unlike most level detection systems, it is not affected by uneven material discharge, build-up on sidewalls or bridging. Because the sensors are never in contact with the material, they can monitor the level of all materials - liquids, solids, and even corrosive and volatile materials - without concern for on-going maintenance or failure. |
